I was super bored with the XP look and since I've upgraded ram and to CS# I wanted to show it off.

I researched like crazy on how to make your PC look nicer and more MAC'ish. Here is everything I found!

Tutorial: "How to Pimp Your Windows XP Desktop to Look Like a Cool Mac Desktop" [link]

Program: FlyakiteOSX [link] // Read up on glitches and what other people say about it. Unclick the iTunes Multi feature, its not compatible with the new itunes and I hear to unclick Winroll also when installing

Expose: Shock Aero3D [link] // You can browse through your windows just like a Mac or like Windows Vista

Wallpaper: [link] Some real nice ones to fit all kinds of monitors. All this info is on the actual tutorial also.

Dock: Flyakite OSX // I will change it to another since its a bit slow to RealDock RK Launcher [link] by ~Asdrubale88 since it is more customizable [Now I changed it to RocketDock]

Dock Icons: *yingjunjiu ~ypf *MediaDesign ~kol ~ssx *pshem


Either way, its nice. Looks way better than XP.


I'm now going to reinstall flyakite without the itunes thing. Giving me an issue. Don't forget to save a date for System Restore.

PS: You can always just by a MAC, but this is for those that already have a nice PC ;p


[EDIT] So after messing around with this for hours I decided to just keep the RK launcher and the nice expose. In reality, that's all I wanted was the nice dock at the bottom. Here's a link to have your CS3 in a nice color order [link] I also updated the list of icons from dA ppl here! Notice the customization of the font above the icons, its Helvetica Neue Ultra Light! I love it! I might go back again to the whole mac look. not sure ;p

[EDIT - Valentines Day] Ok ok ok, the final edit. Thanks to ~AndrewMiguelez, I found out about RocketDock. Seems like it takes less memory and has tons of skins and features! Here is their [link] I'm using the MAC OSX Leopard skin that's it!, no more switching! happy V day you lovers.
